Another successful year for the "Sunshine Girls"! | News
Tarpon Springs, Florida -- The blustery weather couldn't stop a big fundraising effort by a group of kids over the weekend.
Saturday was the fourth annual lemonade and cookie stand organized by The Sunshine Girls, 12-year-olds Sarah Tinsley and Eleni Lambrianos.
The event coincided with national Make a Difference Day, and all proceeds will go to Suncoast Animal League of Palm Harbor.

The girls and their team (Eric Miccio, Chazz Phillips, Mackenzie, Logan and Kennedie Reis) already know they raised more money than last year's $1,000 total.
They still have additional donations coming in, and will present their final check at the Suncoast Animal League's Dogtoberfest event on November 10.
